Message from the President

Fellow Members: I hope you are all enjoying this hot and sunny summer season. While our Spring Season only ended a short time ago, it seems such a distant memory. I don’t know about each of you, but I so look forward to the Fall Season kicking off. In anticipation of our Fall Season, the Club will be hosting a bit of a “party” at the Northern Complex in mid-August. It will give all of us an opportunity to get together prior to the kids going back to school, have some fun, enjoy each other’s company, sign up for the Fall play if you’ve yet to take care of that little item. It would be great if each of our Members were able to attend so mark Saturday August 14th on your calendar. Here’s what you need to know:

DC United Tickets

The club has season tickets for DC United available for purchase. For each game we have 4 tickets and the total cost for the 4 tickets is $76.50. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for any of the games listed below please contact the office at 540-349-8722.

Volunteers needed

Dear FCSC Members,

The Fauquier County Soccer Club is looking for youth and adult volunteers to help with its growing TOPSoccer program. The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer) is US Youth Soccer’s program for children with learning and or physical disabilities. If you’re not familiar with TOPS, please visit our website at www.fcsc.org/Topsoccer and watch one of the videos of children enjoying TOPSoccer. FCSC has helped sponsor Virginia’s largest TOPS program for over seven years.

We will practice inside the Vint Hill Gym on Saturday mornings starting March 27. For the first time, we will have two Saturday sessions to accommodate the increased demand for this program. TOPSoccer is the game for all kids! FCSC athletes and coaches are always welcome to drop in and participate at a practice. Children with disabilities do best when they are given the opportunity to participate in inclusive activities. Accordingly, youth volunteers from FCSC recreation and travel teams are encouraged to practice their soccer skills alongside children with disabilities.

We are also looking for volunteers that can produce a TOPSoccer video that can be given to all TOPS families as a gift and can be used to help promote and spread the word about our club’s TOPSoccer program.
